Product Description
A non-ryegrass ornamental lawn seed mix offering quality at an affordable price and providing an aesthetically pleasing green cover all year round.
With a short, dense and fine-leaved sward, this grass mix provides a vibrant green lush colour that will transform your lawn.
Our Fine Lawn is particularly suited to front lawns as this mixture will require less cutting than a mixture that contains ryegrass but will not be as wear tolerant.
Regular care and attention is needed to provide a good seedbed with a nice flat surface in order to sow the mixture, and to achieve the lawn stripes you have always wanted!

Key Species In This Mix
Slender Creeping Red Fescue
Shade tolerant creeping plant that creates a dense turf. Tolerates close mowing for a finer finish.
Creeping Red Fescue
Grows well in the shade, drought tolerant, dry temperature tolerant, deep rooting system, needs moist soil, but once established it is a very strong grass type.
Chewings Fescue
Grows well in the shade, drought tolerant, blends well with any grass, can be mown lower, capable of growing in low fertility areas, dry temperature tolerant.
Bent Grass
A non-aggressive Perennial grass with fine leaves, it forms a short even turf and tolerates close mowing (down to 5mm).
