This mix will provide a large amount of pollen and nectar rich plants across the year, creating good habitats for insects and farmland birds, while also stabilising soils and reducing surface runoff, limiting erosion.

Perennial grass that commonly grows in dense tussocks
Creeping Red Fescue
Grows well in the shade, drought and dry temperature tolerant. Deep rooting system that once established is a very strong grass type.
Smooth Stalked Meadow Grass
Prevents soil erosion
Chewings Fescue
Grows well in the shade, drought tolerant, blends well with any grass. Capable of growing in low fertility areas, dry temperature tolerant.
Meadow Foxtail
Grows early in the Spring, can be grazed or cut for hay
