Peanuts are a very popular food source for wild birds all year round,  especially in the colder months when natural food is harder to find. This is because they are rich in oils, proteins, fats and essential vitamins and minerals such as niacin, folate, fibre, vitamin E, magnesium and phosphorus. High in protein and oils our peanuts are essential for bird health and energy levels.

Where possible, please use a bird feeder during spring and early summer as loose peanuts may be harmful to younger birds.
